2025 EA NAEA CPE 30 Hour - Personal and Business Entities
Our IRS approved 24 hour tax course contains 2 hours of ethics, 3 hours of updates and 25 hours of federal tax law. Our 25-Hour federal tax law tax class covers the personal income tax return, Form 1040 (including Schedule C), the Partnership tax return, Form 1065, and the Corporate Tax Return, Form 1120. Specific topics include the tax treatment of non-business and business income, adjustments to personal income, tax credits and tax payments, tax differences between S and C corporations. Contribution of capital and distributions of income and capital and depreciation (IRS approval number JK8E2-T-00156-22-S) and provides twenty-five hours of CPE credit. Platinum's 3-Hour federal updates tax class covers current personal and business tax return updates. Topics include fundamental inflationary changes that will be used to prepare tax returns (IRS approval number JK8E2-U-00155-22-S) and provides three hours of CPE credit. Platinum's 2-Hour ethics class covers ethical issues for the EA. Issues involving the possession of tax records, charging of fees for the preparation of taxes and when is a tax practitioner acting in a disreputable or incompetent manner, are reviewed (IRS approval number JK8E2-E-00165-22-S) and provides two hours of CPE credit. The three combined classes will meet the 30-Hour IRS requirement for the minimum number of CE credit hours including the tax updates and ethics requirements. Upon completion of the course a certificate of completion will be awarded and your completion will be reported to the IRS.
